Hoof 'n Hearts Horse Rescue

The horses listed on this page are currently available and are in need of new homes.  All of the horses sold or adopted out by Hoof 'n Hearts are extended lifetime protection with the option of being returned to us, at anytime and under any condition.  Each horse will be listed as either For Sale or For Adoption.  Some of the horses listed on this page, may not be owned by Hoof 'n Hearts, but are advertised for a friend. If there are any questions, or you are interested in any of the horses, please contact Candace.

The following horse(s) are available for adoption through Hoof 'n Hearts.  They may never be sold, leased, traded, or given away.  If at any time, their adoptive owner cannot keep them, they must be returned to HnH and Candace. To adopt a HnH horse, you must fill out our application and provide us with references.  For more information on our adopting process or if you are interested in an available horse, please call or email Candace.

Popeye is a 6yr old 16.2hand dark bay TB gelding with three socks and a very cool face marking. Popeye is an off the track TB who unfortunately is unsound from his racing career.  After a year of having him, we finally found a natural supplement (B-L Pellets) that keeps him as close to sound as possible.  He will make a wonderful companion horse, and maybe down the road, after more time off and maybe some more diagnostic work, Popeye may be sound enough for light trail ride.  To the right home, Popeye is available with no adoption fee.  **Please note, HnH reserves the right to have random stops to visist and assess the care of our adoption horses.

The following horses are offered for sale.  They are horses who did not come from neglectful situation, therefore they are available for sale vs. for adoption.  Not all of the horses listed on this page are owned or directed involved with Candace and Hoof 'n Hearts Horses Rescue, but are listed for friends and acquantances.  To the best of our knowledge, all horses or ponies listed on this page are listed with truthful infomation.  For more information and prices, please contact Candace at CMS7286@aol.com.

Jill is a 6yr old registered Thoroughbred mare who is 16.1hands and is a gorgeous dapple bay.  Jill has lovely conformation, with a great shoulder. She has very big, impulsive movement and would be very suitable as a dressage horse or combined training horse.  She loves to show off her extended trot while playing around in the field.  Jill came off the track recently and is ready for her new career.  She is well behaved and easy to work around.  She cross ties and lunges very nicely.  She will start in more consistant training shortly, and her price will increase with more training.  She is sound with no vices.  Contact Candace for more informations...all offers will be considered.

Update: Jill is going wonderfully undersaddle, walk, trot, canter and almost autochanges! She jumps around 2'6"+ and has been out on trails. She is a lovely prospect...will make a great hunter/jumper or event prospect! She is a great find! Quiet and very willing...she's a fun ride!

Lucky's Broken Heart is a 2yr old registered Thoroughbred mare who is 14.2 hands and is a lovely rose grey.  Little Heart is truly a pony and will stay a pony once finished growing.  We expect her to finish off as a large, around 14.1 hands.  Heart is a very sweet little girl who loves attention.  She is very easy to halter, leads very quietly, x-ties, and is over all pretty simple to work with.  Heart is getting very good at lunging...she picked in up very quickly.  Her training will start more heavily this summer.  Heart is a very cute mover...will definitely succeed in the hunter ring... should always be in the top three of any hack class!! She is put together very nicely and has a lovely face. Sound, no vices. 

Update:  Heart is now green broke and just needs someone to finish her... Great opportunity for a fancy show pony prospect!

Guess Again aka "Boonsie" is a lovely hunter/jumper or event prospect. He is a 6yr old 16h TB gelding who is recently off the track. He is sound with no vices and is easy to work around. He's had two months off to just chill out, and is now ready to start a new career. He lunges and we have been on his back with no issues, he just is green and rides like an off the track TB. Consistent work and he'll be a dream!

Bazooka is offered for sale to a great home. She is a 10yr old bay TB mare who is well put together with nice movement. She'd make a nice hunter/jumper or event prospect or a lovely broodmare for warmblood cross babies. She is a super sweet mare, an absolutely love bug!

Fugazi is currently available for lease to a strong, quiet rider who is looking for a talented partner in the show ring.  He would be great for anything from Children's hunter div, to Jr's, Big Eq or Jumpers.  Big sweet boy with tons of talent!

HVF Paging My Cowboy is available for on or off site lease to a great home.  She is a lovely, quiet mare who is suitable for advanced beginner through advanced riders.  She is broke english and western but has been ridden only english for the past year.  Would be great for a 4-H clubber....will show and win in showmanship and halter classes and would clean up at Round Up, Regional, and probably even States!

Avocatia is availabel for an on or off site lease to a rider looking for a great, quiet hunter.  Very cute mover, will do well at the horse shows!  Cute form over fences. She is pretty much push button to ride.  She is another prospect for a 4-H clubber who wants to go clean up at the shows!

Good As Gold is available for free lease until our summer programs start up again.  With the winter weather turning for the worst, our lesson program has come to a halt for the time being...making Goldie available to a great home looking to pleasure ride.  Contact Candace for more information.

Invest In Me is available for lease to a strong rider who has experience with a slightly complicated ride.  She is a lot of fun to ride, but can be a little forward and 'up'.  She is an absolute blast on a x-country course.  Has jumped around up to 3'6" but gets a little bit forward.  Needs experienced rider.  With schooling to achieve quietness, jumps and moves nice enough to show in hunters.  Quick and athletic enough to do jumpers.  Contact Candace for more info.
