Hoof 'n Hearts Horse Rescue

Candace Scheirer: Handling All of You and Your Horse's Needs

Summer Camps for '08

Hoof 'n Hearts will be running Equestrain Summer Camps.  We invite any children, 5yrs. old and up, to come join us for a week jammed pack with horses.  Our campers will learn a wide variety about horses, including but not limited to:  breed information, colors, nutrition, proper handling, grooming and bathing, leg wrapping, and of course, daily riding lessons!  The campers will be split into groups, and receive individualized attention with very knowledgable staff.  Hands on learning is something the campers will get to participate in everyday, from grooming, to wrapping legs, and even painting a horse to help learn the anatomy.  Crafts are among the many things we do with our campers, and they are used to help making learning more fun and more interesting.  Farrier, veterinarian, and training demonstrations will also take place for the campers to observe. Overall, the campers receive a week full of fun, learning, and horse sense.

Camp Sessions '08

Help Hoof 'n Hearts get an idea of how many campers are seriously interested in joining us for '08 camp.  If you are interested in sending your child to our camp, please send us an email letting us know how many children you would like to send, and what week(s) are better for your family.  This will help us to decide when to host the camp, how many weeks to host, and how many counselors are needed.

Hoof 'n Hearts has not yet determined which weeks we will be hosting our camps.  If you have any questions, please contact Candace.  Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience.
